Why Steam Cleaning vs. Dry Chemical Cleaning?

Steam Cleaning is the method of choice by most major carpet manufacturers and the only method that thoroughly removes soil, bacteria and pollen from carpets.

Do you use chemicals that are safe for children and pets?

Yes, all the solutions we use are non-toxic and hypoallergenic.

How long do I have to wait before walking on my rugs after steam cleaning?

You can walk on your carpets right away if necessary as long as you wear clean shoes, but typically we recommend you stay off the carpets for 6 – 8 hours or until they are thoroughly dry.

How long will it take for my carpets to dry?

This varies depending on soil condition, age and environmental conditions. Generally, 6 – 8 hours or less is the norm; however, heavily soiled carpets may require longer drying periods. The warmer it is in the home the faster the carpets will dry. So, in order to help the carpets dry faster, we recommend turning up the heat in the winter, opening windows in the summer and spring, using fans and ceiling fans. These will help the carpets dry faster. Air conditioning will make the carpet dry slower.

How often should I have my rugs cleaned?

Carpet manufacturers agree that it is best to clean your carpets at least once a year or more often if needed.

How often should I have my tile and grout cleaned and sealed?

Once we have cleaned your tile it will generally last 2 – 3 years or more if specific maintenance procedures are followed.

What is included in the carpet cleaning cost?

We include truck mount steam cleaning, basic deodorizer, pre-treatment and spotting, most furniture moved and replaced with exceptions listed below. The following services are available for an additional charge: Scotchgard Protection, pet stain and deodorizing treatment,carpet repairs, red stain removal, odor elimination and remediation for exceptional conditions.

What time can I expect the technician to arrive if I book an appointment?

We usually book our appointments in a 2 -3 hour time window depending on the amount of time needed for each job. We will call you the night before your appointment to confirm when we expect to arrive at your home or office.

We take pride in our work, our timeliness and our attention to detail. We also ensure that every customer is satisfied with our work and on occasion that means we might be delayed in the process of completing a job. If we find that a job is running over, we will contact you as soon as possible and let you know when to expect us.

Do I need to do anything before having my carpets cleaned?

We ask that you remove breakables from any furniture that you would like moved. We also ask that you pick up all toys, books and clothing from the carpeted areas that are being cleaned. We also need to have a parking space near the entrance of your home and a fresh water source available if possible.

Please note: Water beds, platform beds and beds without wheels cannot be moved. China cabinets, electronics and any furniture with breakables on it will not be moved for your safety purposes and ours!
